Alice’s broad architectural and business experience has been of great benefit to Darrington Architects, and she has enjoyed taking on both familiar and new challenges within the domestic, education and developer scheme sectors. Most of our projects take place within Bedfordshire, although Alice has undertaken work from Gloucestershire to Norfolk and Kent to Derbyshire!
We also enjoy working on developer-led schemes for residential, commercial and industrial projects of varying scales and complexity.
Darrington Architects has extensive knowledge of education sector schemes. Alice’s master’s degree focused on the design of spaces for learning for the future. This included a presentation to a Government Education Thinktank in 2007 and an exhibition at RIBA Portland Place of her ‘eXplore learning’ thesis scheme. We thoroughly enjoy any opportunity to work within the education sector, however large or small.
The process from appointment to completion may seem daunting for those who have not been through the stages before. We pride ourselves on ensuring all the steps are clearly outlined, and all your questions answered.
Darrington Architects are happy to consider all sectors of work and welcome discussions around any potential schemes, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have a project you’d like to run by us.
