We’ve spent plenty of time down at the planning office over the past couple of months, making sure our clients’ projects get the approval they need to go ahead.

The Foster + Partners controversial 1000ft (305.3m) high London “Tulip Skyscraper” project has really caught our eye, as it was recently granted planning approval in the City early this month, despite massive concerns about its potential impact on historic views of London.

This will be Western Europe’s second tallest building (the Shard is #1) and – with amazing 360̕° views of London – hopes are that it will attract 1.2 million visitors a year.

In the “flower” at the top it will have 12 publicly accessible floors, to include a viewing platform with rotating pods, a restaurant and sky bar and a whole floor dedicated to education.
